With no big new releases on the US box office over the new year the top movie jiggle around a bit but there is nothing of note.

The highest new movie is at number 13 in the shape of Shadow In The Cloud, directed by Roseanne Liang and starring Chlo� Grace Moretz which debuts with a gross of $40,000.

The Patty Jenkins directed movie now has a total gross in the US of $28.5 Million and is the third highest grossing movie during the global pandemic.

The Croods: A New Age

The second highest grossing movie of the pandemic era with a weekend gross of $2.1 Million, an increase of 21% from last weekend hence the climb to number 2.

The Nicolas Cage and Ryan Reynolds starring movie has now taken $34.5 Million after 6 weeks of release.

News Of The World

The Tom Hanks starring Oscar buzz movie falls to number 3 this weekend after making its debut at 2 with a gross of $1.7 Million, 30% drop from last week.

The movie has now taken $5.4 Million in America after 2 weeks of release.

Monster Hunter

Director Paul W.S. Anderson new video game movie stays put at number 4 this week with $700,000, 6% up from last week to boost its total cume to $3 Million after 3 weeks.

Fatale

Hilary Swank's latest movie jumps a place from last week with $660,000, a fall of 3% giving the movie a $1.8 Million 2 week total.
