The summer cinema season came to a bit of a grinding halt this weekend with no big new releases to draw cinema goers.
After a couple of new big film last weekend underperforming this weekend the John Krasinski directed movie IF goes back to the top of the box office with a weekend gross of £1.5 Million, a tiny 4% drop over last week.
This pushes last weeks top movie The Garfield Movie dropping down to number 2 with £1,3 Million, which means that there are to family oriented movies at the top.
Furiosa drops to number 4 this weekend and making its debut at 2 last week with under a million pound and a 51% drop.
THe highest new entry is at number 6 with the 20th anniversary re-release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, while the top new movie is Haikyu The Movie: Decisive Battle At the Garbage Dump at 7 with £270,095.
