At the American box office this week Avengers Age of Ultron held onto the top spot on it's second week of release with ease taking in $77.2 million dollars.

Despite being slightly behind it's predecessor in it's second week Ultron has still managed an incredible $312.5 million so far.

Making it's debut in the runner up spot this week is Hot Pursuit, a female cop comedy starring Sofia Vergara and Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon.

Hot Pursuit takes $13.3 million on it's debut, some $63 million behind the top film of the week.

There are no other new film on the American box office this week.
