There is no moving Wonka from the top of the UK box office even by Oscar contender Poor Things as the chocolate loving movie spends a sixth weekend at the top.

The movie takes £2.2 Million this weekend for a total of over £56 Million.

Poor Things starring Emma Stone makes its debut at number 2 with a very good £1.8 Million debut.

The Timothee Chalamet led reworking of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory story, Wonka, makes its debut at the top of the US box office on its debut.

The movie takes a little over $39 Million on its debut which is higher that the $20.7 Million of the 2005 Tim Burton directed movie.

The movie stars Timothee Chalamet who has previously been seen in Loving Leah and will be seen next year in Dune Part Two, it also features Olivia Coleman from Hyde Park On Hudson and Hugh Grant from Notting Hill.
