The Marvel Cinematic Universe is set return this year after a tough time recently with Captain America: Brave New World which has been given a 12A age rating in the UK for moderate violence, bloody images, language

At the UK box office this weekend, Friday, 8th November 2019, there are 8 new releases looking to take your attention at the local multiplex and knock Joker from the top of the UK box office chart next week.
First up at cinemas this week is Midway, an Action movie directed by Roland Emmerich who also directed White House Down in 2013 which grossed £4.2 Million.
It stars Ed Skrein who last starred in Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil (2019).
The film also stars Patrick Wilson who last appeared in Annabelle Comes Home (2019).
Next on this weeks new release schedule is The Irishman.
This new movie stars Robert De Niro who's last film was Joker (2019)
It also stars Al Pacino who appeared in Once Upon A Time ... In Hollywood (2019).
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino starred in Righteous Kill (2008) together.
The film is brought to us by veteran director Martin Scorsese.
Next up this week is Better Days which is directed by Derek Tsang who directed Soulmate in 2016.
It stars Dongyu Zhou and Jackson Yee.
Also this week there is The Good Liar from director Bill Condon who also directed The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 in 2011.
The film features Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen in starring roles.
The long list of new releases continues with Luce which is directed by Julius Onah who directed The Cloverfield Paradox in 2018.
It stars Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer.
Finally there is Arctic Dogs from director Aaron Woodley who also directed The Entitled in 2011, the film stars Jeremy Renner and Heidi Klum.
