Scream 7 follows in the footsteps of the previous movies in the long running Scream~1997 franchise and tops the North American box office this weekend on its debut.
The movie takes over at the top with and incredible debut of over $63.5 Million, the highest of the series to date.
Falling from the top this weekend is the animated movie GOAT~2026 which climbed to the top last weekend and falls just the single place to number 2 this week and has taken nearly $75 Million to date.

Director Emerald Fennell brings her vision of the classic British novel Wuthering Heights~2025 to the big screen and scores a blockbuster movie in the process.
The movie makes its debut at the top of the North American box office this week with a debut gross of nearly $36 Million.
Last weeks top movie, Send Help falls to number 4 this weekend making just shy of $9 Million, a slim 1% drop from last weekend and is proving to be a massive hit movie.

After the global success of The Lego Movie in 2014 directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller bring the novel Project Hail Mary to the big screen which has been given a 12A age rating in the UK for moderate threat, rude humour, drug references, implied strong language
The movie stars Ryan Gosling who has previously been seen in The Fall Guy and The United States of Leland, the movie also stars Ken Leung wh0 has starred in Year of the Fish and The Squid and the Whale.
Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have also had success on the big screen with the adaptation of the TV show 21 Jump Street and its sequel 22 Jump Street.
