Global box office top 5 weekend breakdown 11th - 13th February 2022
The Chinese made action drama remains at the top of the global box office this week as the movie expands into 5 countries and takes $43.7 Million over the weekend, a large 72% drop over last week, but expected after the Chinese holiday the movie launched in.
This gives the movie a total global gross of $524 Million after 2 weeks of release, and it is now the top grossing global movie of 2022.
Also doing well is the Chinese only release which remains at number 2 as the Xing Wenxiong directed movie takes $37.6 Million on its second weekend of release, a 66% drop over last week.
The movie has now taken $316.5 Million in the single country and is the 3rd top grossing movie of 2022.
The delayed release of this remake movie means Kenneth Branagh has 2 movie currently doing the rounds at the global cinema, altohugh Belfast has dropped out of the global top 10, for the moment.
This star studded movie makes its debut on the world stage at number 3 with 33.5 Million from 48 countries, and its the highest debuting movie of the weekend.
Falling to number 4 this weekend is the Chinese only release from director Muye Wen which takes $21.6 Million on its second weekend, a 52% drop, giving it a $159.3 Million total.

The Oscar winning movie has probably had the best run on the box office post ceremony and this week spends its 9th weekend on the box office with £95,129 and a £9.8 million total.
It should pass £10 million before it finishes its UK box office run.
