With the box office still in free fall for at least another weekend we take a look at the movies doing well in the UK over the past 20 years.

A year ago (2019) -

No.1 movie: - Frozen II which had been at the top for 2 weeks.

Highest debut: - Knives Out directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daniel Craig and Chris Evans which entered the box office at number 2.

Top total grossing and longest run: - Joker which had taken £57.5 Million over 9 weeks of release.

Five years ago (2015) -

No.1 movie: - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 which had been at the top for 2 weeks.

Highest debut: - The Good Dinosaur directed by Peter Sohn and starring Jeffrey Wright and Frances McDormand which entered the box office at number 2.

Longest run: - Pan which had been on the box office for 7 weeks.

Top total grossing: - Spectre which had taken £88.4 Million after 5 weeks of release.
