BROS, a new comedy about two emotionally unavailable men who get romantically involved, is given a 15 age rating in the UK for strong sex, sex references, language, drug misuse

It stars Luke Macfarlane who can be seen in Trapped Ashes and Kinsey and Billy Eichner who has previously starred in Bad Neighbours 2 and lent his voice to Penguins of Madagascar.

The movie is directed by Nicholas Stoller who among his directorial credits includes movie such as Get Him to the Greek and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Movie Synopsis

Bobby Leiber is a New Yorker and host of a queer history podcast called 11th Brick, he is also the director of the first national LGBTQ history museum. Bobby has spent most of his life alone and has convinced himself he's better off this way. One night in a club he meets Aaron and everything starts to change.

The longerst run on the box office and the top total grossing film was Muriels Wedding which had taken £7.4 Million over 11 weeks of release.

Thirty years ago (1990) -

Making its debut at the top was Tremors starring Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward and directed by Ron Underwood

The film with the longest run was Uncle Buck which had been on the box office for 10 weeks.

The top total grossing film of the week was Pretty Woman which had taken £11.7 Million after 5 weeks of release.

At the UK box office chart this week the fourth Ice Age films takes the number one spot. It was a bad week though as no film in the UK grosses over a million pound in box office takings.

Ice Age: Continental Drift continues the success of the Ice Age series, but with only £853,226 for its opening weekend it's set to be the lowest grossing. Also this week Prometheus continues it's good run and goes back up to number 2 but last weeks top film, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, falls 5 places to number 6.

This weeks top 15 films marks the lowest top 15 since 25th June 2010 when Get Him to the Greek topped the chart and the combined chart took only £ 3,460,985, although the last time no film in the UK took over a million was way back on 28th September 2007 when Run Fatboy Run was in it's 4th week at the top.

This time last year fared much better that last weekend when the 3rd Transformers film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, took the top spot with an incredible £10,728,503 and also was the top new film of the week.

Five years ago Shrek The Third topped the chart in its opening weekend with and amazing £16,671,727 and it also was the highest new film of the week. And ten year ago Spider-Man was still at the top of the chart having taken it's total gross to £20,953,100 while Murder by Numbers with Sandra Bullock was the highest new film at 2.

For the third week in a row Shrek Forever After hold the top spot at the US box office beating out strong competition from new comer Get Him to the Greek.

The big green ogre once again out grosses the rest of the box office, although with a really low gross over the weekend, all it took was $25.3 Million to manage stay on top.

Shrek number four has now taken just over $183 million in total grosses in the US.

The UK's very own Russell Brand returns as the arrogant pop singer Aldous Snow in Get Him to the Greek, but it only takes $17,422,620 in a very poor debut weekend.

Rounding out the top 3 in Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl in Killers taking just over $16 million.
