This week war film Fury starring Brad Pitt takes over at the top of the UK box office on it's debut week of release.

A reasonably good weekend gross of £2.7 million sees then over take Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after they spend just a single week at number 1.

Fury is already director David Ayer highest grossing film in the UK although for Brad Pitt it has a long way to go to beat the £25 million of Ocean's Eleven.

Fallling into second place after it's top spot debut last week, the Turtles manage to add £2 million to their gross bringing it to £7.9 after a second weekend of play.

Other new film on the top 15 this week are: The Book of Life at 4, Happy New Year at 8, Love Rosie at 9 and The Babadook at 10.
