The crime thriller based around a group of magicians tops the box office with £2.834 Million while The Running Man~2025 took £2.833 Million.

As we roll into the middle of October we get another sequel movie trying to revive an aging franchise, this time is a sequel to the 80's movie TRON as the third movie in the series TRON Ares makes its debut at the tp of the UK box office.

The Disney movie was expected to blast into cinemas on a wave of hype, but instead it sort of whimpers in with a £1.2 Million debut, less than the previous movie in the series.

The series which apart from the 3 live action movies has a number of animated shorts created to expand the series is struggling to make a mark in cinemas despite have a large fan base.

Last weeks top movie from Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl drops from the chart completely as it was only showing for a single weekend but it did take an amazing £4,679,450 that single week!
