$866.4 Million US Box Office Weekend Report 5th - 7th September 2025: The Conjuring films come to an end as The Conjuring: Last Rites tops the US box office on its debut weekend The promised final movie in The Conjuring series of movie, The Conjuring: Last Rites, hits the top of the North American box office on its debut weekend with a gross of over $84 Million.
This makes the movie the top grossing debut, by quite a margin, in the series with The Conjuring from 2013 taking nearly $42 Million on its debut.
Last weeks top movie, Weapons~2026 falls to number 3 this weekend and has taken nearly $143 Million to date.
The 2020 screen recording of Hamilton~2020 gets a cinema release this weekend and makes its debut at 2 with an amazing $10 Million+ gross.

The last in The Conjuring movies depicting the infamous Warrens investigations into the paranormal, The Conjuring: Last Rites, top the UK box office in its debut.
The movie continues the series started with the original movie in 2023 and is the top grossing movie of the series with £6.7 Million.
The Roses falls to second on its second weekend of release and has taken £5.3 Million in 2 weeks.

The current period of late summer into autumn is proving a very quiet period for the box office, last weekend was the lowest total gross for the top 15 in many a month and this weekend is only slightly higer.
Coming in at number 2 is the 50th Anniversary re-release of Steven Spielbergs classic blockbuster Jaws which takes £1.1 Million over the weekend.

That climber is Demon Slayer - Kimetsu No Yaiba: The Movie Infinity Castle which takes over at the top wth a $32 Million weekend gross.
The movie has taken $242.5 Million in total after 6 weeks in world cinemas.
Top new movie is the Netflix exclusive KPop Demon Hunters which takes $19.2 Million from a limited Saturday and Sunday release, although Netflix don't release exact box office figures for many countries.

The movie has become a surprise big box office hit and has a total UK gross of £8.6 Million.
Which much of the top 5 staying in the same place this weekend the highest new movie is at number 6 with The Life of Chuck taking £486,294 on its debut.
Worth noting is the this weeks top 15 is one of the lowest weekend total for many weekend with little in the way of big blockbuster movies getting released, and summer holdovers like Superman~2025 and The Fantastic Four First Steps simply not bringing in the numbers.
