The next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Shang-chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings gets an age rating certificate from the BBFC, a 12A for moderate violence, fantasy threat, bloody images, language.

The movie stars Simu Liug as Shang-chi and Awkwafina as they both mark their debuts in the Disney MCU.

The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton who is best known for directing Just Mercy in 2019.

A new trailer has been released for the Disney/Marvel movie Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings from the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 series of movies.

The movie stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi and also features Awkwafina and is set for release in the UK on 3rd September and in the US on he same day.

The trailer is an action feast and as well as revealing some of the story has some quite incredible effects shots.

The movie is directed by Hawaiian Destin Daniel Cretton who also directed Just Mercy in 2019.

With Black Widow nearly in cinemas and Disney+ this is the next movie to look forward to in the MCU before we get the much anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Last weekend saw Wonder Woman 1984 at the top of the UK box office, and the movie is likely to remain there this week with no new cinema releases.

There are a couple of new movies hitting VOD this week, Soul and One Night in Miami.

After making its debit last week at number 2 the Dwayne Johnson starring sequel movie moves to the top of the home entertainment charts.

The movie was a big hit in the UK and US at the end of 2019 where it took nearly $800 Million globally.

Frozen II

Disneys smash hit sequel movie falls to to number 2 this week after sitting at the top for three weeks since its release.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Starring Jim Carrey along with a CGI blue hedgehog the movie is a video game adaptation from Sega's long running series which started in 1991.

The movie was a surprise smash at the box office in mid February and it took £18 Million in the UK and $146 Million in the US before the COVID-19 pandemic closed all cinemas.

Knives Out

Rian Johnsons smash hit movie falls to number 4 this week after 4 weeks on the home entertainment charts.

Trolls

Making a return to the top 5 this week as people reminds themselves of the movie before the sequel Trolls World Tour hits streaming this week.

The movie came out late in 2016 and was a big hit during its box office run where it took £24 Million over 14 weeks in the UK and took $344 Million globally.
