The movie sees the return of Neve Campbell, who was missing in Scream 6, who has previously been seen in Investigating Sex and The Glass Man, it also stars Courteney Cox who has been seen in The Opposite Sex and How to Live With Them and Bedtime Stories.
Directing duties go to Kevin Williamson who has previously helmed Teaching Mrs. Tingle.

The movie has most of the original stars return to the franchise, Neve Campbell is back once more as Sidney Prescott and Courteney Cox reprises her role of reporter Gale Riley, Gale Weathers from the original movie.
The movie is co-directed byMatt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett who both have a good pedigree in the horror genre with films like Devil's Due and V/H/S.
