$744.9 Million This weekend, Friday 6th March 2020, there are 5 new films released in the UK looking to hit the box office, but can it challenge The Invisible Man for the top spot?
First up at cinemas this week is Onward, directed by Dan Scanlon who also directed Monsters University in 2013 which grossed £30.6 Million in the UK and grossed $744.9 Million globally.
It stars Tom Holland who last starred in Dolittle (2020).
The film also stars Chris Pratt who last appeared in Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Next on this weeks new release schedule is Military Wives.
This new movie stars Kristin Scott Thomas who's last film was Tomb Raider (2018)
It also stars Sharon Horgan who appeared in Game Night (2018).
The film is brought to us by Peter Cattaneo.
Next up this week is Escape From Pretoria which is directed by Francis Annan and is a directorial debut.
It stars Daniel Radcliffe and Ian Hart who were last seen together in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 which grossed £73,094,187.
Also this week there is The Photograph from director Stella Meghie who also directed Everything, Everything in 2017.
The film features LaKeith Stanfield and Chelsea Peretti in starring roles.
The long list of new releases continues with Fantasy Island which is directed by Jeff Wadlow who directed Never Back Down in 2008.
It stars Michael Peña and Maggie Q.

Pixar didn't release a cinematic film in 2014, so the new film from the digital animated studio was going to be a big deal, and Inside Out is critically one of their best and makes an impressive UK box office debut.
Entering the chart at the top Inside Out~2015 takes in £7.3 million on it's debut, compared to their last film. Monsters University this was over double its debut.
It is though way behind the leader in the Pixar crown, Toy Story 3 which took an incredible £21 Million on its debut and went on to become one of the highest grossing animation of all time.
Inside Out~2015 has a good start and is inline with Finding Nemo from 2003, it will easily go over the £30 million mark in the coming days.
Last weeks top film, Ant-Man, falls to number 2 this week with a £2.5 million weekend gross raising its total to £9.6 Million.
One other new entry on the top 10 this week is Southpaw which is new at 4 with £1.6 million.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes holds off the challenge of Hercules, The Purge Anarchy and Earth to Echo to keep the top spot at the UK box office for another week.
Now in it's second weekend of release Dawn of the Apes easily hangs on to the top spot with a weekend take of £3.7 million, this brings it's total gross to £17 million after 10 days of release.
Highest new film of the week is Dwayne Johnson in a retelling of Hercules, an all out action film rather than historical retelling of the Greek myth it's directed by Brett Ratner.
Hercules took a gross of £1.5 million on it's opening weekend, it has a long was to go to even be one of Johnson's best films as he's been part of the Fast and Furious series and The Mummy series.
Likewise Brett Ratner has been part of the X-Men series and directed the 2 Rush Hour movies, and also directed a Hannibal Lector film, all high grossing franchises.
Hercules could sink quite fast especially with some of the new releases coming in the next few weeks which will be ultimately bigger box office hits.
There are plenty of other new releases this week in the form of - The Purge Anarchy at 3 - Earth to Echo at 6 - Kickat 8 - The House of Magic at 10
This time last year new at the top was The Wolverine based on the X-Men universe which topped on it's debut knocking Monsters University into 2nd.
Five years ago Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was still at the top in it's second week and The Proposal with Sandra Bullock was new at 2.
Ten years ago Spider-Man 2 held onto the top spot for a second week with the highest new film being Thunderbirds at 3.
Fifteen years ago it was Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace holding onto the top spot for a second week, and with nothing daring to open up in the wake of such a big film the highest new film was Hindustan Ki Kasam at 10.
As expected this week there was no stopping Dawn of the Planet of the Apes as it very easily and without competition took to the top of the charts on it;s debut weekend.
Grossing £8.7 million from Thursday to Sunday it took more than the rest of the box office combined.
Dawn well and truly out preformed it predecessor Rise of the planet of the Apes which took £5.8 million on it's debut weekend in August 2011, it went on to gross £20.5 in total.
Dawn should go on to out-gross that film and could come close to £25 - 30 million in the UK.
Also worth a mention this weekend is two even movies that got themselves inside the top 5 on the box office chart, Monty Python Live (Mostly) made number 4 with £1.8 million which Andre Rieu took him Maastricht concert to number 5 with £830,000.

This time last year Monsters University held on to the top spot which mean The Worlds End debuted at 2.
Five years ago Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince made it's debut at the top of the box office knocking the previous number 1, Ice Age: Dawn of The Dinosaurs, to number 2.
Ten years ago say Spider-Man 2 make it's cinematic debut at the top of the box office knocking Shrek 2 into the number 2 spot.
Fifteen years ago was an historical time in cinema as the much anticipated, and to an extent much hated, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace made it's UK debut at the top, 2 months after it's US debut. The Mummy fell to number 2.
This week we finally see the full release of Transformers: Age of Extinction and How to Train Your Dragon 2, and predictable they dominate the upper end of the box office chart.
Taking the top spot is the 4th in the Transformers series of movies from director Michael. The film had previews last weekend and takes the number 1 position with ease this week grossing £11.7 million in the process, it is the biggest grossing opening weekend of the year so far.
It's interesting to note this opening gross does include the £8 million from last weeks preview screenings, a £3 - 4 million is a closer opening weekend figure.
Opening in second place after going on general release is How to Train Your Dragon 2 which also includes money from it's previews over the last 3 or 4 weeks.
Falling to third this week is last weeks top film Mrs. Brown's Boy's D'Movie which after 3 weeks has grossed £11.8 million.
There were a number of other new film this which included - Begin Again at 5 - Boyhood at 7 - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania at 12
Last year at the box office Monsters University opened at the top of the chart knocking Despicable Me 2 into second place after 2 weeks at the top.
Five years ago Sasha Baron Cohen opened at the top with Bruno which knocked Ice Age: Dawn of The Dinosaurs to second place.
Ten years ago Shrek 2 held on tight at the top for another week keeping Around the World in 80 Days in second place for it's debut.
Fifteen years ago there was little change at the top with The Mummy retaining it's lead for a second week, highest new film was 10 Things I Hate About You at 5.
