The margins were tight at the North American box office this weekend as The Nun II hangs on to a second weekend at the top by less than $300,000.

With The Nun II staying at the top A Haunting In Venice has to contend with making its debut at number 2 with a debut of $14.2 Million.

The movie manages a better debut than the previous movie in the Branagh, Hercule Poirot series, Death On the Nile took $12.8 Million on its debut.

The Nun II from The Conjuring universe of movies is the top new movie of the weekend, taking £1.7 Million it is way lower than the £4.1 Million of The Nun.

The movie is in fact the second lowest grossing movie of the universe of movies with only The Curse of La Llorona coming in lower which has a debut of less than £1 Million.

Indian smash hit movie Jawanb> makes its debut at number 2 with a gross of £1.3 Million and it gave the top movie a good run for its money.

This weekend the latest in the long running The Conjuring universe of film hits the box office at number 1, The Nun II makes its debut at the top with $32 Million.

Last weeks number 1 movie The Equalizer 3 falls to number 2 after a single weekend at the top.
