Based on the stage show musical of the same name, Matilda The Musical is given a PG rating in the UK for mild threat, comic violence

The movie stars Andrea Riseborough as Mrs. Wormwood who was previously seen in Amsterdam~2022 and The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, it also stars veteran British actor Emma Thompson who is known for the likes of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Nanny McPhee

The movie is directed by Matthew Warchus who is known for directing Pride in 2014 as well as many event movie stage productions.
