The trailer for Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey - a horror take on the classic A.A. Milne story, has been released.

Its not quite the cuddly animated feature that Disney has portrayed over the years, but its fun to see a new take on the classic, not sure its what the author had in mind thought!

The movie is yet to get a release date but we can likely expect to see this around October halloween season, or in the new year when horror movies also do well.

It is directed by Rhys Waterfield who has a number of movies in production and stars May Kelly and Amber Doig-Thorne who also have a number of movies filming.

During their investors day Disney CEO Bob Iger announced much of the details about the new streaming service they will launch to compete with the likes of Netflix, Amazon and the recently announced Apple service (TV+).

Disney own a lot of content from their own films and TV show to Marvel films, Star Wars, the recently purchased Fox movies and TV and Pixar to name but some of their massive catalogue.

The House of Mouse will most likely start to pull their content from other streaming services to make it more appealing and with a price point of $6.99 a month or $69.99 for the year it is certainly competitive.

There are a number of TV shows on the works which will only appear on the service like the Star Wars based The Mandalorian and the Pixar Monsters Inc. based Monsters At Work.

Also announced is the the recent box office hit Captain Marvel will be on the service at launch this is all very good for the millions of Disney fans out there, and throw HBO and ESPN into the mix and just maybe this is a Netfix killer.

At the UK box office this weekend the Kenneth Branagh directed live action version of Cinderella from Disney makes it's debut at the top.

Cinderella took a reasonable £3.8 million over the weekend to see it to number 1, in comparison to last years Maleficent also from Disney based on a much loved animation it half the debut gross.

The film should do well in the next couple of weeks as its the school Easter holidays, but with Home still on release and Spongebob also out there it has competition.

Home falls from the top to number 2 this week in it's second weekend of release, a £2.6 million Monday to Friday sees it's gross now stand at nearly £10 million.

Other new film hitting the box office chart this week are: The Spongebob Movie Sponge Out of Water which lands at 3 but should do well over the Easter break, Get Hard which lands at 4, Seventh Son which has a disappointing debut at 7 and Wild Tales which enters at 9.

Ten years Ago - Hitch goes back to the top after surrendering the number 1 spot to Robots for a week, Robots falls to number 2.

Fifteen years ago - Another week at the top for Toy Story 2 while the top new film of the week was at number 5 in the shape of Magnolia

I know there are a couple of people out there who are looking forward to the second part of the last part of the seven part Harry Potter saga, so to get you all excited Warner has released a little video vignette for you to watch.

The video is mainly interviews with the 3 principles, but there are also small (and I mean small) clips of the new film, so keep you eyes peeled and finger on the pause if you want to take them in full.

The last ever Harry Potter film is due for release on July 15th so not long to wait until there is no more.

Keanu Reeves has been doing the full media circus of late to promote his new film Henry's Crime, which unfortunately failed to chart in the top 15 this week with a relatively low weekend gross of £64, 508, but while doing the rounds there was inevitable questions about the rumours of a new Bill and Teds movie, it's been 20 years now and according to Reeves there is a script although he's not seen it yet, but it may well happen.

It's also being reported that during a talk at the London School of Performing Arts Reeves said that he had met with the Wachowskis and discussed a possible return to the Matrix franchise. Reports say that the action will blow the mind in a similar way that the original, and best no argument, did back in 1999.

Throwing all this into confusion now is that reports are appearing that Reeves in fact didn't make any such statement, so what gives? One this that is for certain though is that with the amount of buzz that this possible untrue rumours has created means that there is certainly an appetite still out there for The Matrix, and although the 2 sequels never came anywhere near matching the original the series still has fans.

If the Wachowskis have noticed all this hype maybe they and Warner would sit round a table and work out a way to, successfully, bring this series back to the big screen, and yes it was rumoured to be in 3D.
