Disney release their long awaited sequel movie Zootopia 2 this week and it was set to de-thrown current box office champ Wicked For Good, but The Wizard of Oz prequel/equal was too strong and remained on top by quite a margin.

The second park movie of Wicked~2024 remained at the top for a second weekend with a very healthy £7.7 Million, although it is a 60% drop from last weekend.

With Five Nights At Freddys 2 the biggest new release next weekend and Disney movie having legs over the holiday periods Zootopia 2 could still have its day.

• The movie is the Highest debut on this weeks UK box office chart.
• It grosses £5,984,739 over its debut weekend
• The movie is a sequel to Zootopia which took £5,306,726 at the box office after 1 weeks in cinemas.

• The movie goes down the chart to number 3 on this weeks UK box office
• It grosses £605,621 over the weekend, a 46% drop from last weekend
• It has a total gross of £5,488,759 over 3 weeks of release
• The movie is a sequel to Now You See Me 2 which took £5,710,321 at the box office after 3 weeks in cinemas.

• The movie is a new entry at number 5 on this weeks UK box office
• It grosses £348,070 over its debut weekend

Clearly there were no no releases of not this week as entering at the top of the video chart is Nicholas Cage in a film called Left Behind.

Left Behind was badly received by critics in the US when released on October 3rd and made only $2 million at the box office so the distributers decided not to give it a UK theatrical release.

That decision may have paid off as it sells well on video in the UK, although it is on one of the quietest periods of sale in the UK, the test will be where it is next week.

Last weeks top sale falls to number 2 this week, Frozen from Disney spending yet another week high on the chart.
