After 7 weekends at the top of the US box office Avatar: The Way of Water falls to number 3 as 2 new releases enter the box office in the top 2 places.
New at the top is Knock At the Cabin while one place below is the well times release (just before the Superbowl) of 80 For Brady.
Also new this weekend is BTS: Yet to Come In Cinemas at number 5 and The Amazing Maurice at number 13, there is also a re-entry for The Chosen: Season 3 - Episode 1 & 2 at number 9.
Highest new movie this weekend
Director M Night Shyamalan brings his latest movie to cinemas and scores another number 1 movie in the process, it is also another hit movie for star Dave Bautista.
Compared to the directors last movie, Old from 2021 it is very much in the same ball park as that movie took just over $16 Million on its debut.
Starring some of the best veteran actresses in Hollywood this feel good movie has come in far better than expected with its $12 Million debut gross.
Released to coincide with the Superbowl with is on the 12th February the movie also stars the most decorated American Football player Tom Brady.
After spending an amazing 7 weeks at the top of the US box office the Avatar sequel falls to number 3 this weekend.
The movie has been an amazing success for its director James Cameron and sets the franchise up for the third installment due in cinemas December 2024.
The sequel movie from the Shrek universe spends a fourth weekend on the top 5 and is the second top movie so far in 2023.
The mega band hits cinemas again with their latest concert movie which lands on the box office at number 5 this weekend.
Their last movie BTS: Permission to Dance On Stage Seoul Live Viewing was released in March 2022 and took over $6 Million on its debut weekend.
The Batman stays at hte top of the UK box office for a second weekend as its weekend gross drops 45% but it still far out grosses the rest of the top 15 again.
Highest new movie of the weekend is the event movie BTS Permission to Dance On Stage - Seoul: Live Viewing which comes in at number 3 while Indian movie Radhe Shyam is also new at number 9 with £186,705.

UK box office top 5 weekend breakdown 11th - 13th March 2022
Spending a second weekend at the top of the UK box office is the DC Universe movie directed by Matt reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as The Dark Knight which takes £7.2 Million, a 45% drop over last weekend.
The movie takes 61% of the weekend box office top 15 takings and is the second top movie of 2022 so far, there is a chance it will take the top spot of the year by next weekend.
The Tom Holland starring video game adaptation remains at number 2 for a second weekend with just ave a million pound, a very good 21% drop over last week.
This gives the movie a total UK gross of £21 Million after 5 weeks and making it the 4th top movie of 2022.
Highest new movie of the weekend is an event movie from super group BTS which this weekend lands at number 3 with £899,126.
The band were previously on the UK box office in 2018 with their concert movie Love Yourself In Seoul: BTS World Tour 2019 which was a top 10 hit for a weekend with a gross of £518,809.
The mega smash hit animated sequel falls to number 4 this weekend with £819,153 on its 7th weekend, a 21% drop, giving the movie a total UK gross of £31 Million and making it the top movie of 2022 so far.
The Roger Michell directed movie falls to number 5 on its 5th weekend of release with £500,749, a 27% drop, giving it a new total gross of £3.8 Million.
