News from around the web

The biggest selling video of the year is staying put at the top of the video chart this week, for a second week, although it is it's fourth time there.

It's also having a resurgence at the box office in the sing along version, hundreds of kids belting Let It Go at the top of their voices, a must for any parent!

Highest new film of the week is right down at Seven, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For makes a soft entry on it's debut week.

The sequel to the 2005 film, Sin City, was released on 29th August this year and had a very soft entry at 4 with just over £1 million in weekend takings.

The film fell to 12 the following week and then left the box office after just 2 weeks of release, it took only £1.6 million on it;s whole run.

With Christmas just round the corner no big new releases to mention except for Into The Storm which enters at number 20.

There is a change around at the top of the US box office this weekend, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles falls a single place to number 2 while Guardians of the Galaxy bounces from number 2 to the top.

The Turtles fall into second place after a 2 week spell at the top during which they made a very good $145.6 million from 3 week of release.

It has now become the highest grossing film of the summer and Guardians of the Galacy goes back to the top with a $17.6 million weekend and a $251.9 million total.

It was a very slow weekend at the US box office, the highest new film being the R.J. Cutler directed If I Stay starring Chloë Grace Moretz which debuted at 3 with $16.4 million.

Other new film on the US box office this week are - When the Game Stands Tall at 5 - Sin City: A Dame to Kill For at (perhaps disappointingly) 8
