On this week UK video chart Pixar's hit comedy Inside Out makes its debut at the top the same week they release their latest film at the box office.

Inside Out was a massive cinema hit that was released in the UK on 24th July 2015 entering the box office at number one with a £7.3 million debut weekend.

The film hung around the box office for 15 week grossing an amazing £39.1 million in the process and was still at the box office last week.

Minions fell from its debut a the top into the runner up position making a double top for animated movies.

Other new films this week: Ted comes in at number 3 while Southpaw is new at number 5.

Mission:Impossible has done impressive numbers across the world this week, and as the summer season starts to draw to a close Tom Cruise is number 1.

One of the lowest opening grosses of the summer, but still $121 million world gross from 41 countries safely sees Mission:Impossible Rogue Nation become the top film of the week.

Minions starts to slow down a little after 5 weeks of release and falls down to number 2 this week with $51 million in world grosses from 63 countries.

Vacation makes a slow start but still manages to appear at number 7 this week from it's single country opening, it took $14.8 million just from the US..

Here is the full world box office this week.

Pixar didn't release a cinematic film in 2014, so the new film from the digital animated studio was going to be a big deal, and Inside Out is critically one of their best and makes an impressive UK box office debut.

Entering the chart at the top Inside Out~2015 takes in £7.3 million on it's debut, compared to their last film. Monsters University this was over double its debut.

It is though way behind the leader in the Pixar crown, Toy Story 3 which took an incredible £21 Million on its debut and went on to become one of the highest grossing animation of all time.

Inside Out~2015 has a good start and is inline with Finding Nemo from 2003, it will easily go over the £30 million mark in the coming days.

Last weeks top film, Ant-Man, falls to number 2 this week with a £2.5 million weekend gross raising its total to £9.6 Million.

One other new entry on the top 10 this week is Southpaw which is new at 4 with £1.6 million.
