Nicholas Cage plays himself in the off beat comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent which has been given a 15 age rating by the BBFC for strong language, drug misuse, violence, brief sex references
The movie stars Nicholas Cage who starred in the highly acclaimed Pig~2021 from 2021 as well as many other hit movies and Pedro Pascal who is best known these days as The Mandalorian but also starred as the baddie in Wonder Woman 1984.
The movie is directed by Tom Gormican who brought us That Awkward Moment in 2014.
Movie Synopsis
Unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, actor Nick Cage accepts a $1 million offer to attend a wealthy fan's birthday party. Things take a wildly unexpected turn when a CIA operative recruits Cage for an unusual mission. Taking on the role of a lifetime, he soon finds himself channeling his most iconic and beloved characters to save himself and his loved ones.

All change at the top this week as Disney take over with their animated blockbuster Big Hero 6 making it's debut.
Like it's predecessor from the Mouse House Big Hero 6 makes it's debut at the top of the box office, and like Frozen which debuted with £4.7 million Big Hero 6 takes takes £4.2.
The release is just before the Uk school half term holiday which will see a massive boost in it's takings, and although it will do well it wont do as well as the juggernaut that has been Frozen.
Falling from the top spot this week is American Sniper which is this week at 3 and a total gross just shy of £10 million.
Making it's debut at 2, and only why of the top spot by £50,000, is Kingsman The Secret Service.
Other new films this week are: Inherent Vice at 9 and Les Contes Dhoffmann Met Opera 2015 at 10.

A year ago - The Wolf of Wall Street was holding onto the top spot for another week while the highest new film was That Awkward Moment which came in at 3.
Five years ago - There was still no move for Avatar as it held onto the top spot while the highest new film was Mel Gibsons try at a comeback movie in Edge of Darkness at 3.
Ten years ago - Meet The Fockers was the highest new film which debuted at the top of the box office knocking Closer down to the runner up spot.
Fifteen years ago - Double Jeopardy made it's debut at the top of the chart knocking Angelas Ashes down to the number 2 spot.
This week the best selling Blu-ray/DVD is the Tom Clancy created Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit starring Chris Pine.
Jack Ryan, the fourth film from Tom Clancy's novels was released in the UK on 24th January this year. Not huge hit at cinemas it entered the box office chart at 3 with a weekend gross of £1.2 million.
It hung around at cinemas for 3 weeks and took a total of £3.1 million. It is directed by Kenneth Branagh and also starts Keira Knightly.
Last week top disk of the week The Wolf of Wall Street falls into second place with Frozen still hanging onto the top 3 at 3.

For a third straight week there is no change at the top of the box office with The Wolf of Wall Street still proving too dominant and with little in the way of big new releases.
Wolf adds another £2.4 million to bring it's total to £14.9 million and looking to be Scorsese's biggest film, his previous best was Oscar winning The Departed from 2006.
Highest new film is at 3 with That Awkward Moment with took a relatively low £961,167 over the weekend.
Long running films Frozen, Gravity and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug are still doing well but this could be the last weekend for The Hobbit and Gravity, although The Oscars could change that.
Last year Les Miserable Was still holding the top spot with highest new film Flight starring Denzel Washington entering at 3.
Five years ago Slumdog Millionaire was still doing well at the top with highest new film Revolutionary Road entering at 3.
Ten years ago the as also no move with Scary Movie 3 staying at the top, no new films in the top 10, highest new film was Cold Creek Manor at 14!
Fifteen years ago Shakespeare in Love entered the box office at the top knocking Little Voice down to 3.
