$215.1 Million The Roses, a make of The War of the Roses, starring Olivia Coleman and Benedict Cumberbatch makes its debut a the top of the Uk box office this weekend with a £2.1 Million gross.
The current period of late summer into autumn is proving a very quiet period for the box office, last weekend was the lowest total gross for the top 15 in many a month and this weekend is only slightly higer.
Coming in at number 2 is the 50th Anniversary re-release of Steven Spielbergs classic blockbuster Jaws which takes £1.1 Million over the weekend.
Weapons~2026 falls to number 3 this weekend but is still pulling in the audiences with a slender 27% drop and has taken over £10 Million after 4 weeks.

A very quiet weekend at the UK box office has Weapons~2026 remain at the top for a third weekend in a row with a £1.1 Million weekend gross.
The movie has become a surprise big box office hit and has a total UK gross of £8.6 Million.
Which much of the top 5 staying in the same place this weekend the highest new movie is at number 6 with The Life of Chuck taking £486,294 on its debut.
Worth noting is the this weeks top 15 is one of the lowest weekend total for many weekend with little in the way of big blockbuster movies getting released, and summer holdovers like Superman~2025 and The Fantastic Four First Steps simply not bringing in the numbers.
Real life band sensation turned animated feature KPop Demon Hunters makes its debut at the top of the North American box office at number one with a reasonable $18 Million debut.
Its not uncommon for K-Pop bands to hit the box office in live concerts shown in cinemas but this is a 90 minute animated movie featuring a female K-Pop band.
After spending a couple of weeks at the top Weapons~2026 falls to second place with a weekend gross of $15.5 Million taking to movies gross ot over $100 Million at the US box office.

Box office smash Weapons~2026 spends a second weekend at the top of the US box office as the movie drop just 44% from last weekend and takes $24 Million on its second weekend.
The movie has now taken a total of $88 Million at the US box office after 2 weekends of release and it heads towards the $100 Million milestone.
Highest new movie of the weekend is Nobody 2 which comes in at number 3 with a total of $9.2 Million.
The first movie in the series Nobody took nearly $7 Million at the North American box office on its debut in 2021.

In a surprise move the Zach Cregger directed movie Weapons~2026 tops the UK box office ahead of the Disney movie Freakier Friday which lands at number 2.
Weapons~2026 opens its box office run with a very decent debut gross of £2.1 Million.
Disneys latest movie Freakier Friday makes its debut at 2 with a gross of £1.7 Million which compared to the original movie from 2003.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps drop off the top spot after 2 weeks and has a total gross of £19 Million, maybe not quite the hit Disney was looking for!
