$0 This week across the world the latest X-Men film X-Men Apocalypse made its debut and took over at the top but it wasn't all bad news for Captain America: Civil War.
X-Men took $106.6 million dollars with its launch in 76 countries, but not America, and took over as the top film.
In the world of cinema it is becoming quite common for one Marvel franchise to take over from another Marvel franchise, especially when from competing studios.
With 41% of the non American market and topping the X-Men debuts in many of them this latest version of the X-Men films could be one of the biggest to date.
Captain America: Civil War has now become the first movie of 2016 to break the $1 billion mark (although The Force Awakens did it in 2016) and the film now stands at $1.05 billion and is number 3 this week.
It is also of course the highest total grossing movie on the world box office and is still showing in 55 countries, although with this and Batman V Superman slowing later in their run are we starting to see a letup in the superhero dominance of the box office? Here is the world box office top 5
This weeks US box office is a slow one in the pre-easter market waiting for the battle of the titans new week and has Zootopia from Disney staying at the top.
Three weeks now for the very well received Disney movie which this week manages a $38 million weekend.
After 3 weeks this brings the movies total gross to $201 million, the film is actually doing a little better than Disney's best ever movie Frozen!
Highest new film of the week is The Divergent Series: Allegiant, the third film is the teen drama series which enters the box office at number 2 with $29 million.
This is the lowest for the series the last 2 film having come in with over $50 million, and also making their debut at the top.
The last films tepid reviews and the lack of interest in the film have probably effected the series.
Also new this week at number 3 is Miracles from Heaven.
