It would seem there is no escaping live action remakes at the box office at the moment as Dreamworks How to Train Your Dragon~2025 remakes makes its debut at number 1
The movie takes an am amazing £8.1 Million on its debut which although lower that Disney's Lilo and Stitch~2025 on its debut is not far off.
The original animation took £4.8 Million on its debut in April of 2010.
Lilo & Stitch~2025 spent 3 weeks at the top of the UK box office and this week falls to number 2, the movie has made over £33 Million.

Disneys live action Lilo & Stitch spends an amazing 3rd weekend at the top of the UK box office once again keeping Mission:Impossible The Final Reckoning at number 2 and any other new comers.
The movie has been a massive hit for the mouse house and proved that the right subject matter is good for a live action remake, unlike the previous couple of movies.
Lilo & Stitch~2025 this weekend takes £3.5 Million for a £31 Million total.
From the universe of John Wick this week comes Ballerina~2024 which perhaps disappointed this weekend as it makes its debut at number 3 with £1.4 Million.
Worth noting this weekend is that the whole top 5 took over £1 Million at the box office.

Lilo & Stitch and Mission:Impossible - The Final Reckoning are still fighting it out for the top spot at the UK box office with the Disney live action remake winning for a second weekend.
The movie too an excellent £6.1 Million on its second weekend which pushes the movies total to nearly £26 Million, which means its not made more than the Dumbo~2019 remake from 2019.
The final Mission:Impossible movie, Mission:Impossible - The Final Reckoning remains in the runner up spot this weekend as it takes nearly £3.5 Million for a £17.5 Million total gross.
Highest new movie of the weekend is Karate Kid: Legends which makes its debut at number 3 with £2.5 Million.
