Horror movie Smile~2022 remains at the top of the UK box office for a second weekend as The Woman King enters at number 2 as the top new movie of the week.
Meanwhile Amsterdam~2022 makes its box office debut at number 5 and The Lost King is new at 7 with £368,753.
At the lower end of the box office at number 12 is a new entry for Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne with £100,437 and one place below is Godfather with £93,212

UK weekend box office top 5 breakdown 7th - 9th October 2022
Making it 2 weeks at the top is the low budget horror movie which on its second weekend of release takes £1.7 Million, a very small 8% drop over last weekend.
If you remove the advanced screening from last weekend which added over £2 Million to the weekend total, the movie took £1.5 Million last weekend Friday - Monday which gives it a 17% increase weekend over weekend.
The movie has taken a total of £4.7 Million in the UK, but with Halloween on our doorsteps and a host of horror movies being released, including the high profile Halloween Ends this movie could sink fast.
Highest new movie this weekend
With a critically acclaimed performance from star Viola Davis the highest new movie of the weekend comes in at number 2 with a debut gross of £1.3 Million.
The movie is a strong contender for Oscar recognition at next years ceremony which could see it hang around for a while, and potentially have a second bite of the box office next February.
Falling to number 3 this weekend, but the Florence Pugh and Harry Styles starring movie is doing better in the UK than it is in other territories.
The movie take just over £1 Million on its third weekend of release, which is down 44% from last weekend which gives the movie a UK total of £8.2 Million.
With the star powere the film has it has clearly not performed to the standard hoped by the studio, but in the UK at least it has been a minor hit.
The George Clooney and Julia Roberts double header continues to pull in the crowds as its spends a third weekend inside the top 5 at number 4 with £861,172, a 36% drop over last weekend.
The movie now has a total UK gross of £6.7 Million after 3 weeks of release.
A high profile cast including Margot Robbie, Christian Bale and John David Washington has not stopped this movie from being critically panned and not making an impact on the UK box office as it makes its debut at number 4 this weekend.
A debut gross of £632,722 and an entry at number 5 will see it sing out of the box office fast having spent a single weekend at the top end of the box office.
