Marvel studios brings its latest movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps to the big screen and as expected the anticipated introduction of Marvels first family tops the UK box office on its debut.
The movie takes an excellent £8.1 Million on its debut which is better than Iron Man 2 but not as good as Thor: The Dark World
The movie is the third of the big July 2025 movies and although it did better than Superman~2025 from a couple of weeks ago its not come close to Jurassic World: Rebirth from the start of July.
Superman~2025 drops to number 2 after a couple of weeks at the top and has taken £21.5 Million to date.

A new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about the start with the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps which has been given a 12A age rating in the UK for moderate threat, violence.
The movie stars the man who is in most things at the moment Pedro Pascal who has also been in movies like The Adjustment Bureau and Wonder Woman~2011, the movie also stars Vanessa Kirby who has appeared in Mission:Impossible - Fallout and The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.
The movie is directed by Matt Shakman who is a TV director veteran and was responsible for much of the acclaimed series Wandavision, he has previously directed Cut Bank in 2014.

The new Cinematic DC Universe kicks off this weekend with DC head James Gunn's Superman~2025 movie, the start of a series of movies which replaces the Synderverse series that died with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in 2023.
The new version of Superman makes its US box office debut this weekend takes over $122 Million, the fourth highest of 2025.
Falling from the top after only a week is Jurassic World: Rebirth which is at number 2 this weekend with a total gross of over $232 Million after 2 weeks.

Seven movies in and the Jurassic Universe is showing no sign of stopping as superstar Scarlet Johansson heads up the start of a new trilogy with Jurassic World: Rebirth.
The movie which joins a now long line of movies which started with the ground braking Jurassic Park directed by Steven Spielberg back in 1993 makes its debut with nearly £12.5 Million.
This is almost the exact same as the previous movie in the series Jurassic World: Dominion.
After just a single weekend at the top of the UK box office F1 falls to number 2 and has taken a total of £12.9 Million.
