US Box Office Weekend Report 5th - 7th September 2025: The Conjuring films come to an end as The Conjuring: Last Rites tops the US box office on its debut weekend The promised final movie in The Conjuring series of movie, The Conjuring: Last Rites, hits the top of the North American box office on its debut weekend with a gross of over $84 Million.

This makes the movie the top grossing debut, by quite a margin, in the series with The Conjuring from 2013 taking nearly $42 Million on its debut.

Last weeks top movie, Weapons~2026 falls to number 3 this weekend and has taken nearly $143 Million to date.

The 2020 screen recording of Hamilton~2020 gets a cinema release this weekend and makes its debut at 2 with an amazing $10 Million+ gross.
