$0 Marvels The Fantastic Four: First Steps held off a potential threat from new comer The Naked Gun~2025 to stay at the top of the UK and Northern Ireland box office for a second weekend.
Despite a 62% drop from last weekend the superhero movie took an exceptable second weekend gross of just over £3 Million giving the movie a total gross of £15.3 Million.
The movie has now taken more that Thor and should overtake Eternals and maybe this years Thunderbolts by next weekend.
The reinvented The Naked Gun~2025 starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson makes its debut at number 2 this weekend with a nice £1.8 Million.
This is very much in the ballpark of the original The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad which took £457,000 on its debut and adjusted for inflation would be nearly £2 Million.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has had a hard tome of late after 20 years of hit after hit, but Thunderbolts from earlier this year hit the mark just about right and now we get The Fantastic Four: First Steps hitting the top of the North American box office.
The new movie brings in a new 'phase' of the ling running series of movies and is the long awaited arrival of The Fantastic Four to the Disney franchise.
The movie hits the top of the box office with a weekend gross of $118 Million, better than Spider-Man: Homecoming but not as good at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but the movie has already taken more that The Marvels.
After 2 weeks at the top Superman~2025 falls to number 2 and has taken a very nice $289.5 Million total gross to date.

Fighting it out for the top spot on the North American box office this week were 2 big movies Lilo & Stitch~2025 and Mission:Impossible The Final Reckoning.
With quite a margin the Disney live action remake of Lilo and Stitch won the battle and tops the box office with a very good $125 Million.
The Tom Cruise vehicle and final Mission Impossible movie has to make do with the runner up spot and takes $64 Million on its debut.
Final Destination: Bloodlines falls from the top to number 3 on its second weekend of release and has taken $89.5 Million after 2 weeks of release.

In a box office battle similar to Barbie V Oppenheimer, Lilo & Stitch~2025 live action and the last Mission Impossible movie Mission:Impossible - The Final Reckoning get released on the same day for a box office battle.
The winner in the end was the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch~2025 which took a very respectable £9.5 Million to get to the top.
This makes it the fifth top debut in the UK for a Disney live action remake with the top one being the Beauty and the Beast~2017 remake.
The remakes have had a hard time of late with this years Snow White~2024 set to be the lowest grossing so this is a nice boost for the company.
Mission:Impossible - The Final Reckoning enters the box office at number 2 this weekend and its debut gross of £8.5 Million falls just short if Mission:Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 which took £10.3 Million on its debut.
Lat weeks top movie, Final Destination: Bloodlines, falls to number 3 on its second weekend on the box office and has taken nearly £7 Million.
