Spider-Man: No Way Home spends a fourth weekend at the top of the UK box office while there is nothings in the way of major new releases to try challenge it, although that could change next weekend!
Highest new movie of the weekend is Licorice Pizza which makes its debut at number 3 while further down the box office is The 355 which is new at 7 with £366,546.
Finally the critically acclaimed Boiling Point is new at number 11 with £79,117 from just 53 cinemas in the UK.

UK box office top 5 breakdown weekend 7th - 9th January 2022
The Marvel/Sony movie spends a fourth weekend at the top of the UK box office, the longest run since Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in September 2021, although No Time To Die did spend 4 non-consecutive weeks at the top on October of 2021.
The movie took this weekend £4.4 Million which is a very slim 26% drop over last weekend which gives the movie a UK total of £79.3 Million after 4 weeks.
The movie is naturally the top film so far in 2022, and on its current pace it could beat No Time To Die as the top movie released in 2021 which has taken £96.5 Million so far.
A second weekend at number 2 for the prequel movie from director Matthew Vaughn which this weekend takes £905,092, a large 74% drop over last weekend altohugh that did include nearly a week of previews.
The movie has now taken a fairly reasonable £5.3 Million over its 2/3 weeks of release.
Director Paul Thomas Anderson's coming of age movie set in the 1970's got a pre-release on new years day and has taken to date £879,373.
The movie has had great reviews which might keep its momentum going for a few weeks as it becomes a fan favourite.
The kids animated series transitioned to a live action big screen movie had a decent Christmas holiday and this weekend only falls to number 4 with £623,074, a small 20% drop over last weekend, giving the movie a £7.3 Million total after 5 weeks.
The fourth The Matrix movie has had a tough time at the box office but in the UK the movie only falls to number 5 this weekend with £513,474, a 32% drop over last weekend, which gives the Keanu Reeves starring movie a total UK gross of £6.4 Million over 3 weeks.
The darling of British TV makes its debut on the big screen and it was all too much for Pennywise as Downton Abbey leaves the horror film with only a single week at the top.
Making the transition from successful TV series to hit movie on the big screen the famous house from the 1920's aristocracy makes its debut at the top of the UK box office.
The films debut was maybe a little quieter than expected but it still manages a very reasonable £5.1 Million openeing.
This is in keeping woth similar films of this genre but if you compare it to It Chapter Two, a typical overhyped hollywood movie which it knocks off this week, it is a couple of million lower.
It may be a temporary removal from the top but the Stephen King adaptation falls to number 2 this week after a single week at the top with a weekend gross of £3.1 Million.
This pushes the films total UK gross to £13.5 Million after 2 weeks of release which is £8 Million behind the first film.
Also entering the box office this week at number 3, starring Constance Wu and Jennifer Lopez the film makes quite an impressive debut with £1.3 Million.
The film is from director Lorene Scafaria and is based on a viral magazine column from New York about strippers taking their lives into their own hands.
By far Tarantino best film to date the 1960 Hollywood set film falls to 4 this week with £557,889 taking its total UK gross to £19.8 Million.
Jon Favreau animated remake (have we stopped calling it live action now?) falls to number 5 this week with £439,795 taking its total to £73.8 Million.
It is the highest total grossing movie on the chart this week and is the second highest grossing film of the year.
Pixars animated sequel is at number 9 and has the longerst run on the chart with 13 weeks and its total gross is sitting at £64.9 Million.
The John Wick series of films has gained more popularity as each film has been released and this week the series reaches its pinacle as John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum makes its debut at the top.
Starring Keanu Reeves the high octane action movie hits the ground running and makes its debut at the top of the UK box office on its debut weekend of release.
The film, directed by Chad Stahelski, makes its debut with a weekend gross of £3.6 million which is by far a series high.
The live action film starring Ryan Reynolds as the voice of Pikachu, which made its debut last weekend at the top falls to 2 this week with a £2.7 million gross.
This pushes the films total to a non too shabby £8.9 million after 2 weeks of release.
The Marvel mega hit falls to 3 this week but still has a fantastic weekend gross of £2.2 million after 4 weeks of release.
The film now has an amazing total UK gross of £83.9 million which makes it the fourth highest grossing UK film ever, its now £10 million behind Avatar at number 4 which it may not get to.
The con artist movie falls to 4 this week with a second weekend gross of £793,328 pushing its total to £2.3 million.
Making its debut at number 5 this week is the Nickelodeon TV show which transitions to the big screen and makes £521,504 on its debut.
Longest chart run this week is the live action Dumbo which has now been around for 8 weeks and has taken £24.7 million.
JK Rowling unleashes her vision of the Wizarding World beyond the mega successful life of Harry Potter in the shape of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them which enters the top with great but not excellent opening weekend.
A £15 million debut is nothing to be sniffed at, and it is the 20 top opening in the UK ever, but only 2005's Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire scored a lower opening of the Potter series.
Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban from 2004 was the biggest Potter opening with £23.8 million on its debut and is the 3rd top opening ever in the UK.
Fantastic Beasts has some big shoes to fill and with the very favourable reviews it could be a long and slow burner, but in less than 4 weeks Star Wars does the same and expands its universe which will have a knock on effect.
Arrival entered the box office at number 1 last week and falls to number 2 this week with £1.5 million which brings its total to £5.7 million after 10 days of play, its should overtake Prisoners as director Denis Villeneuve top film.
Only one other new entry this week, Andre Rieu Christmas With Andre, and event cinema, at number 4, it took just over £1 million.
Bridget Jones's Baby was once again the longest running film on the chart at 10 weeks and the top total grossing move with £47 million.

Five years ago - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 made its debut at the top of the box office knocking off Arthur Christmas.
Ten years ago - Casino Royale made its debut at number 1, it knocked off 2 week champ Borat: Cultural Learnings of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
Fifteen years ago - The Wizarding Word started its cinematic transition with Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone making its debut at the top, its knocked The Others down to 2.
Twenty years ago - The First Wives Club took over at the top of the box office, Michael Collins fell to number 2.
Twenty five years ago - making its debut at the top was What About Bob, Dead Again fell to number 3 after 3 weeks at the top.
