As well as many movies released in cinemas around the globe this list also includes a number of the top movies released on streaming platforms.

Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace gets rated by the BBFC once again ahead of its 25th anniversary release and its been given a PG age rating for moderate violence, mild threat
The movie which was first released in 1999 stars Liam Neeson who has since been seen in many movies including Taken and Men In Black: International, it also stars Ewan McGregor who has been seen in Son of a Gun and other Star Wars movies including Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
The movie was directed by George Lucas who has directed the likes of American Graffiti and THX 1138.

A pair of Jedi warriors escape a planet amid failed trade negotiations and encounter a highly gifted enslaved boy in this 1999 sci-fi adventure prequel.

The live action remakes of classic Disney movies has been a big success for the studio and despite the quality being questionable at times many of the films have gone over the Billion mark at the global box office.
Next year Milan gets the treatment, which is an interesting move considering the more mature nature of the subject matter.
The story of a Chinese woman who takes her place in the male dominated army and becomes one of their greatest warriors is perhaps more relavant to day than when the animated movie came out in 1998.
The movie is released in the UK and America on 27th March 2020.
A fairly uneventful video charts this week - probably while the world waits for The Force Awakens - sees The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 stay at the top.
This is the third week, non consecutive, that the film has spent at the top of the UK video charts.
With no films moving in the top 4 the highest new film on this weeks chart is at number 5 in the shape of Victor Frankenstein.
There were high hopes for the film which was released on December 4th 2016 but despite the stars Daniel Radcliffe and James Mcavoy the film only entered the box office at number 8 with £431,125.
After 2 weeks the film was pulled from cinemas when it sunk to 11 on the box office and making less than a million pound, the film has probably already done better on home video.
Only one other new film this week, A Warriors Tale at number 15.

At the world box office this week Fast and Furious 7 is still street ahead of the crowd as it's gross for it's second weekend of release hits $255.5 million.
This now gives the film an $800 million world gross and it is certain to hit the $1 billion mark in the coming weeks.
Highest new film is The Longest Ride at number 5, a total weekend gross of $16.5 million from 29 territories, the film is yet to open in much of Europe.
2nd this week is Home with $34 million and 3rd is Cinderella with just shy of $20 million.
Wolf Warrior this week takes $18 million, still doing strong numbers at 4 despite only being released in China.
