Despite having good word of mouth the latest in the long line of Disney remakes,
Snow White tops the North American box office with only $42 Million, one of the lowest.
In an age where the success of a movie is partly determined by its opening weekend gross, this is not a promising sign.
The animated tale if one of Disney's most beloved, and critics have been kind, but a long production period and delayed launch have not done the film any favours it seems.
Last weeks top movie Novocaine falls hard to number 4 this weekend with $3.6 Millon and %15.6 in total grosses.
