
US release: 9th January 2026The long awaited re-telling of the classic 80's TV animated series and Dolph Lungren movie Masters of the Universe has been given a 12A age rating in the UK for moderate fantasy violence, innuendo, language.
The movie stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man who has previously been seen in The Watcher In the Woods~2017 and this years The Sheep Detectives, it also stars Camila Mendes who has starred in Upgraded and Do Revenge.
Directing the movie is Travis Knight who has previously been in charge of Wildwood and Bumblebee.

Fantasy adventure in which a man must return to his home planet in order to fulfil his destiny and protect his Kingdom from a tyrannical ruler.

Aquaman continues to dominate the globe as the film opens in more countries despite competition from Mary Poppins and Bumblebee.
Remaining at the top of the global box office for a third weekend the film opens in more countries taking its count to 70 territories.
This weeks total is 4158.7 million which brings the films total global gross to $482.8 million which means it will pass $500 million by next weekend.
The animated film is at number 2 this week with a global gross of $54 million from 53 countries which brings its total to $129 million.
Highest new film of the week is the Transformers Origin movie Bumblebee which opens in 38 countries.
The Travis Knight directed movie take a cool $53 million on its debut weekend.
Making its global debut at number 4 this week is Disneys sequel which was 54 years in the making.
Director Rob Marshall Following on from the Original Mary Poppins and the sequel is released in 17 countries so far and takes $42 million.
The seasonal Dr Seuss film takes $31 million from 68 countries this weekend to bring its total to $422 million.
The start of the Christmas holiday weekend and Warner Bros. take the top of the chart with their latest DC Universe film Aquaman.
Warners DC Universe has had a hard time of things in recent years despite the success of Wonder Woman last year, but things are taking a upward look with their latest origin story feature for Aquaman.
The film flies into number 1 with a weekend take of $67.4 million, and if you add Thursday previews this takes the total to $72 million.
For Disney there is a lot riding on this film as they are making a sequel to a beloved movie from 1964 with a fresh actress taking over the lead role.
Critics have been kind and some have loved the film, but there have been some negative reviews, the film misses the top spot but still manages to take $22,2 million on its debut weekend and $31 million with previews.
Taking a departure from the usual Transformers movie this origins movie takes the franchise in a new direction and from what the critics are saying its better for it.
The Travis Knight directed film takes $21 million on its debut weekend of release.
Second weekend for the Spider-Man animation and the film falls from the top spot to number 4 with $16.7 million to bring its total to $64.8 million.
The Clint Eastwood directed and starring movie falls to number 5 this week with $9.3 million taking its US total to $35 million.
