Follow up to 2021's mega Chinese hit The Battle At Lake Changjin, The Battle At Lake Changjin II is given a 15 age rating in the UK.
Starring Jing Wu who also starred in the original the movie also stars Jackson Yee and Rudy van Gelderen.
The movie is directed by Hark Tsui who has previously directed Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings as well as the original The Battle At Lake Changjin, Chen Kaige and Dante Lam join him directing duties.

This weekend might go down in history as the weekend where cinema across the globe came back to life after the pandemic as globally there were 5 massive new releases which out performed expectations and created an all new box office top 5.
At the top is the Chinese movie The Battle At Lake Changjin which was only released in China and yet out grossed all in its path, then there was the new Bond movie No Time To Die which is the second top movie of the weekend.
The North American champion Venom: Let There Be Carnage makes its debut at three, while the Chinese movie My Country, My Parents is at 4 and finally The Addams Family 2 is new at 5.
Last weeks top movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings falls to number 6 this weekend.

Global box office top 5 breakdown 1st - 3rd October 2021.
Released only in China the highly anticipated war movie starring Jing Wu and directed by Kaige Chen, Dante Lam and Hark Tsui takes 40% of this weeks global top 10 with a debut gross of $232.9 Million.
This is one of the biggest debut weekends in China and is a real sign that the Chinese public are going back to the movies, it out preforms No Time To Die by over $100 Million.
Very impressively the movie is already the 8th top movie globally of 2021.
The long delayed 25th James Bond movie finally makes its debut and lands at number 2 on the global box office with a very impressive $119.1 Million from 54 locations.
The movie is still to open in many bog markets including North America and China, so this is just the start of its long box office run helping to bring people back to cinemas.
Getting a release in just 2 territories this week the superhero villain movie from the Spider-Man universe lands on the global box office at 3 with $103 Million.
$90 Million of this was in North America where is landed at number 1, the movie is still to be released in most of the world but the sequel movie has made an impressive start.
Another movie which has only been released in China this weekend the threequel has been over shadowed by the number 1 movie The Battle At Lake Changjin but still gets an impressive debut at number 4 with $90.6 Million.
Completing an all new top 5 the sequel animated movie, like most of this weeks top 5, is only released in 1 country and land at 5 with $18 Million.
